Petite France - The Little France in Korea

We took the train via ITX Cheongchun line (board at Chyeongnyangni station) bound to Gapyeong station. When we arrived at the Gapyeong train station, we grab some brochures for the recommended attractions to visit and the timetable for the circle tour bus. We chose to take the Gapyeong Tourist Shuttle bus going to Petite France. For a fee of 6000 won you can ride to and from its 10 destinations (Nami Island, Petite France, The Garden of Morning Calm, etc).

Bienvenue to Petite France!

Refresh your childhood memories with these beautiful sceneries here at the small French cultural village in Korea, the Petite France.

Who can forget Cedie the sole heir to a British earldom who leaves New York to take up residence in his ancestral castle. His grandfather, the Earl of Dorincourt, intends to teach the boy to become and aristocrat, but Cedie inadvertently teaches his grandfather compassion and social justice and the artless simplicity and motherly love of dearest warms the old man's heart.

Little Prince Cedie will let you enjoy the tour!

Dance to music and enjoy the exciting performance of Marionette dance.

Marionette House

This is where they filmed the scene of Korean series My Love from the Star when Matteo Do used his supernatural power to turn all the lights and told his love towards Steffi Choi.

So Anne, you're Steffi Choi. Where is Matteo Do?

Filming site of the Korean soap opera Beethoven Virus.

This was the office of Gang Mae (the maestro of the orchestra).

Also one of the shooting spots of Secret Garden.

The architecture of Petite France will take you to a land of fairy tale like what we dreamed of when we were kids and until now. It's okay to act like a kid. We couldn't turn back time so enjoy every single moment of your life.
